PJ and Kim's Wedding

Last 2012 was a year of celebration for my dear FamiLEE. It started on September with the wedding of my cousin Lindsey and Verney, my new cousin in law. Afterwards, the holidays arrived marking the arrival of many relatives from China, Australia and Germany as well. Celebrations peaked last December as another one of my cousins, Kim FINALLY got married to her boyfriend for 10 years, PJ.
We're just as happy that they tied the knot! Congratulations!! We've never seen a happier bride and groom. :o)

Thank You, 2012!

2012 has been a year of adventure, discovery and blessings. It has also been a year of growth.

Thank you to all my dear friends and loved ones who have been so supportive and are always on-call as willing models. This year would not have been the same without you all.

So Cheers to another year of great opportunities and new experiences! Happy New Year, All :o)

With Love, Matt

Old Town Taal, Batangas

One of the places I enjoyed visiting this year was Old Town Taal, Batangas: an understated treasure of Philippine culture and beauty. The original inhabitants of this old municipality were migrants from Taal lake after the Taal volcano erupted in 1754. This heritage site is the location of the house of Marcela Agoncillo, the best known maker of the first Philippine Flag. Taal is also a destination site for many religious pilgrims for its famous Basilica de San Martin de Tours and the Shrine of Our Lady of Caysasay. The Lady is said to have made several apparitions at the river and performs miracles for those who come to visit and ask for her intercession.

Taal is one of the hidden beauties of the Philippines, and at a mere 3-hours away from Metro Manila, everyone should pay a visit to such a picturesque and historical town. :o)
