Lady in the Water Shoot

These are the photos that made it through the dark room from my latest "legit" shoot. Since I've started shooting with The Miracle Project I've been getting to meet more and more people as well as learning new things about fashion photography. I literally took the plunge in this shoot taking my camera with me (extremely carefully) into the pool! It was a fun, wet and not to mention COLD time with friends from mid-afternoon to sunset. Despite harsh weather conditions, I think everyone could agree that we had a splashing good time!

Mestizas vs Morenas Shoot

These are the shots from my second shoot with The Miracle Project. I started to direct a bit more during this shoot than the last. I think I've gained more confidence already in just 2 shoots! The idea of the shoot was inspired by the ANTM shoot "Blondes vs Brunettes" It was a challenge to see which group could come up with the better set of shots. Instead of hair color, we split the group by skin color. Who "won" the challenge? I'll leave the photos to speak for themselves. Thanks again Pael for tagging me along. Thanks to the models who were super fiesty and super loud! Haha.

The Cousins Cheng

It was a rainy holiday afternoon. The cousins (from my mother's side) were supposed to have an outdoor shoot in the park for our 2012 calendar; but obviously the wet look isn't the best look to put on a calendar page. Instead we made an improvised studio in our TV room and shot against our rug (which was our "grass") and the blank wall. A quick and easy shoot but nevertheless it was lots of fun! !! Sorry Ma, I promised not to post yours. I did!

Amore Shoot

It was a crazy afternoon at my first ever legit photoshoot. Legit meaning there was actual hair and make-up and all the prep involved. I was really excited to get to work with the team. Wow, it was a nerve-wracking but fun experience! People everywhere were panicking, shouting, panicking again -- or maybe that was just our make-up artist Pael Gutierrez!

I met lots of new people, as well as learned a lot from the shoot. Thank you Pael, Adi, and everyone else for the amazing experience! :D

(Like I mentioned in a previous post, other models where there but I didn't get to work with them for the actual shoot. :c There will always be next time!)

Behind Amore

These shots are actually outtakes from a shoot I did with The Miracle Project for a line of dresses by the beautiful and talented Adi Amor. More on that in a future post. Just wanted to share some of the faces behind the project since I didn't get to handle all the models during the actual shoot :)
